Amazing AmiSa

Summer has just ended and you may already had a peek on some of my aweSUMMER getaways and trips. But do you often come back from a trip and feel like you need a “vacation to recover from your vacation?” Then you’re not alone.

So now, it’s time for me to share the details of the my recent stay at Amisa Private Residences Resort Condo in Mactan.
In a small island, with over 300,000 populace, where can you go to unwind, wander or probably - do some soul searching, and escape the hustle and bustle of the city?
Just a few months ago, I saw this paid ad on my Facebook newsfeed of a “not-so-known” (since it’s new), Condo-Resort in the beautiful Historic Resort City - Lapu-Lapu City, offering overnight stays.  The photos were so enticing and alluring that I was not able to resist, and immediately made a reservation. I just have to see it for myself.
So the day has come, and YES, it’s the kind of place that I’ve been looking for and even exceeding my expectations. The place is indeed picture perfect, not crowded (there were less than 20 people that I saw), and tranquil enough for me to relax.

The terrace/balcony can be a great escape, you get to see the city from a bird’s-eye view, fronting Magellan Bay, overlooking the pools and the clubhouse, and feeling the cool, salty sea breeze,  - giving you a better perspective of where you are. 

Getting some peace in your room, especially if it’s anything but tranquil in the evening and early morning.

How to get there:
1. SM City Cebu V-Hire Terminal can be your jumping-off point. You ride a Van/GTXpress via Gaisano Mactan (Php 25.00)
2. From Gaisano Mactan, ride a multicab going to Punta Engano (Php 15.00).  Tell the Manong Driver to drop you off on the entrance gate of Amisa. They know where it is. (Aprox. 40 mins travel)
And Voila! You’re there.
